𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗚𝗔𝗥𝗙𝗜𝗘𝗟𝗗 (@commcatgarfield)
Former comm cat who was kidnapped but thankfully rescued!
Sterilised male, est 8-10yo
Independent but also a great companion pet; confident, friendly, not afraid of humans, loves head rubs, will knead and purr and flop on your feet
Able to co-exist with other cats with proper integration
Litter-trained
FIV+ but #fivisnotadeathsentence! With enough care and attn, so many cats with FIV are thriving and living their best lives.
Did a full dental extraction in Nov 2021 to manage stomatitis i.e. no teeth and cannot bite you!
Food-driven, still eats very well without teeth, not fussy with food but a quality wet food diet with immunity-boosting supplements will be most ideal for his health
NOT on any long-term medication but if need to, vet techs have said that he’s very easy to pill

Must have a fully meshed home as Garfield is fat but agile
Financially able to provide food, litter, medical fees (if applicable) for the rest of Garfield’s life
Preferably some prior experience with cats; observant to any changes in his health and able to administer meds if need to. For first timers, we (residents at his former estate) and his rescuer will be happy to guide you along!
OK with having a 6.47kg cat flop on your feet
We will arrange for him to be deflea-ed and dewormed before he goes to your house.
Also open to fosterers who can help Garfield transition to a home environment, and provide him with the space and time needed to strengthen his immune system.

Please contact the rehomer only if you are willing to fully cat-proof or mesh your home for the safety of your cat. This includes the main gate, windows and balconies. Click to see our guide on how to cat-proof your home!
